Hey,
I’m Jordan, the founder, and creator of Random Affects. My fashion journey began in Philly when I started redesigning and repurposing clothing from local thrift stores. To my surprise, what started as a hobby became an opportunity to do what I love for a living and create unique, accessible, and custom pieces people want to wear. With approximately 30 million tons of used textile waste generated each year in the United States and an average of 80 pounds of used clothing disposed of per person every year. I have focused on creating an innovative and postmodern green footprint by transforming yesterday's apparel into tomorrow’s new, exciting, and wearable looks using thrift clothing and recycled fabrics.
While my brand embodies upcycling second-hand garments, it also establishes inclusivity. Pushing the envelope and ignoring boundaries, Random Affects is designed for all genders and all sizes. Everyone deserves to sport outfits that make them feel good and embody their personality and sense of style. The fashion industry has limited what we wear based on our size and gender. Being excluded from the world of premium, contemporary clothing, I have made it my goal to be innovative and outside the box — creating and influencing new uses, styles, and looks that break down barriers and drive greater inclusivity. Every piece I create is unisex and uniquely tailored with my one-of-a-kind designs, which I like to call “wearable art”. Random Affects makes stimulating, avant-garde, and colorful fashion people want to wear.

Yours truly,
Jordan
